Gail J. Kueker - Gaelle (Artist Signature)
I have been fortunate to experience multiple chapters in my life. Some great chapters, some good, while others, well...they were there to help me to see how much more texture and depth was waiting to be discovered and added.
My name is Gail J. Kueker, and there have been two major forces in my life, painting and design. Painting and design have been chosen life passions, purpose and career directions for me.
When I first started painting it was extremely primitive. Though naïve (simple shapes + color placement) is a chosen style for me, my first pieces were more about searching for that right vision through trial and error. Creating and experimenting with a lack of awareness on what to do - a lot like life.

My first canvases were signed with the name Dakini as my signature. As I had discovered this name while reading the book, Women Who Run With Wolves, by Estes. Taking the Tibetan derivative, which means the creative force within.
I used that signature until a major life shift occurred in 2013. When I then chose to take my birth name - just spelled differently. It was almost as though it was a confirmation that my life, as well as my art, had found the needed alignment and power of my own force.

I have wanted one thing my whole life, and that is to be the creative director of my own life. To see and experience the vastness of my own potential. That potential has nothing to do with likes on social media, corporate positions, nor monogram initials that would include the last name of the man I would marry. I wanted to be someone that my younger self would be proud of...a self-empowered woman!
